Safe & Sacred Pregnancy: Black Mamas Glowing Through COVID-19 is a virtual support network formed to reduce isolation and build community for Black birthing families and the collegial network of birth workers and supporters. The focus is on stress and Black pregnant women and birthing people during and through COVID-19.
Each series of Safe & Sacred Pregnancy consists of 4 meetings. All meeting times are 5:30pm-6:30pm and will take place on Zoom. Dates for the March 2021 series are:
Tuesday March 2nd: Safe & Sacred Birth Planning
Tuesday March 9th: Myths & Truths About Mental and Emotional Wellness
Tuesday March 16th: Tapping Into Social Support
Tuesday March 23rd: Self-Advocacy from Prenatal Care to Delivery
